Nothing in Creation Compares to Him

16 September 2026

Closing Surah Al-Ikhlas at 112:4 - nothing compares to Allah, and what that frees the heart from seeking elsewhere.

Surah Al-Ikhlas closes on the same note it began with, uniqueness, this time made complete and absolute. At Darus Saulieghien Quraan Academy we close our reflection on this surah here, at its final ayah, the seal on everything the surah has taught.

No Equivalent, Anywhere

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
"Nor is there to Him any equivalent." (Surah Al-Ikhlas 112:4)

Nothing in creation, however great, magnificent, or beloved, can be placed beside Allah (SWT) in comparison. "There is nothing like Him, for He alone is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing." (Surah Ash-Shura 42:11) In a hadith qudsi, Allah (SWT) says: "My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary deeds until I love him... and if he seeks My protection, I will surely protect him." (Sahih al-Bukhari 6502)

What This Frees a Person From

We tell our students that understanding Allah's (SWT) incomparable uniqueness protects the heart from seeking, in creation, what only He can give: ultimate security, ultimate love, ultimate protection. Nothing else was ever built to carry that weight.

May Allah (SWT), to whom nothing is comparable, be the One our students turn to first in every matter. Ameen.
