Fajr and Asr are the prayers we rush the most. Protect them, and stay one quiet minute after.
Some prayers get rushed more than others. For most of us, it is Fajr, when sleep is heavy, and Asr, when the day is still full.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever prays the two cool prayers will enter Paradise." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)
مَنْ صَلَّى الْبَرْدَيْنِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ
The scholars explain that the two cool prayers are Fajr and Asr.
Where the Quiet Minute Matters Most
This is the last of five reminders in The Quiet Minutes: stay on the mat, count your tasbih, make one ask, put the phone down, and now protect the prayers you rush the most.
Take Home
This week, choose Fajr or Asr. After that prayer, stay seated for one minute before you stand. Let the quiet be part of the prayer.
