As another term draws to a close, DSQA reflects on the term's growth, thanks its mu'allimeen and parents, and encourages students to carry small consistent habits into the holiday break.
Alhamdulillah, another term at Darus Saulieghien Quraan Academy has come to a close. From the first day back to this final week, our students have shown real dedication - in their Qur'an recitation, their classwork, and the quiet consistency that adds up to real growth over a term.
DSQA exists because that growth matters to us as much as any single test mark or milestone. A term isn't just weeks on a calendar; it's pages memorised, habits formed, and character shaped, in-shaa-Allah, for the Aakhirah as much as for this world.
The Value of Finishing Well
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if they are small" (Sahih al-Bukhari). A term's end is a good moment to remember that the small, steady efforts - a daily page, a kept promise, a patient correction - are exactly what Allah (SWT) loves most, not the dramatic gesture.
We are grateful to every mu'allim and mu'allimah who guided our students with patience this term, and to every parent who kept up the reminders, the encouragement, and the du'a at home. None of this happens in the classroom alone.
Carrying It Into the Break
As our students head into the holidays, we ask that the habits built this term don't pause along with the lessons. A short daily portion of Qur'an, a kind word, a moment of dhikr - these are easy to keep going, and Allah (SWT) rewards consistency far more than intensity.
