When the Only Videos Left of You Are Qur’an

, ,

Imagine this.

After you return to Allah, every video shared about you is simply you reciting the Qur’an.

No arguments.
No jokes.
No pointless clips.
Just the Book of Allah flowing from your tongue.

That was the beauty of Moulana Mustaqeem رحمه الله.

You could ask him anytime, anywhere:
“Recite something for us.”

And he would never shy away.
No hesitation.
No embarrassment.
No delay.

The Qur’an was not a performance for him.
It was part of him.

The True Legacy

Allah says:

“Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah, establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them… they hope for a trade that will never perish.”
(Surah Fāṭir 35:29)

What greater investment can a person make than filling their life with Qur’an?

Some people leave behind businesses.
Some leave behind wealth.
Some leave behind memories.

But the one who leaves behind Qur’an leaves behind light.

The Qur’an in the Grave

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Recite the Qur’an, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection as an intercessor for its companions.”
(Muslim)

We ask Allah to make the Qur’an a companion for Mustaqeem in his grave.
To make it light for him.
To make it protection for him.
To make it his intercession on the Day when we will all stand before our Lord.

May Allah raise Mustaqeem with the people of the Qur’an — those who are the special servants of Allah.

A Message to Our DSQA Learners

At Darus Saulieghien Quraan Academy (DSQA), this is what success truly looks like.

Not popularity.
Not applause.
Not fame.

But a heart attached to the Qur’an.

Let us ask ourselves:

If videos of us were shared after we passed away…
what would they show?

May Allah grant our learners the love of the Qur’an.
May He make them from Ahlul Qur’an.
May He allow us to live with the Qur’an and return to Him with the Qur’an.

Ameen.
