- The above questionnaire is to be completed weekly on Sunday before the new school week the following day i.e. Monday.
- Parents are to STRICTLY adhere to the school hours. Students are to arrive and leave on time to ensure they do not spend unnecessary time on the premises.
- Students are to sanitize at the entrance.
- Desks, benches and toilets will be sanitized before and after class hours.
- Designated seats will be assigned to each student where they will remain socially distant from each other at all times.
- Masks/shields/nibaaq must be worn at all times.
- Every student should bring along their own sanitizer, wudhu towel and toilet paper.
- No food or drink can be shared with others.
- If any student/teacher has been in contact with the virus they will be requested to stay at home and self-isolate for 10 – 14 days.
- If any student/teacher/staff shows symptoms of the virus, they will have to stay home until fully recovered – no exceptions.
- Online classes will be available for those who are unable to attend due to health issues.
- In the case of exams/tests, students will be allowed to write at deferred dates should they have to stay home.
- Procedures to follow when a staff member or student arrives at school unwell or becomes unwell whilst at school:
- Anyone who develops symptoms compatible with COVID-19 during the day must be isolated in a designated room, away from other learners and staff until they leave the school. This should be arranged ASAP.
- A family member will be phoned and arrangements must be made for this person to
- be taken directly to the nearest testing facility.
- If it is a child, they will be supervised by a staff member wearing appropriate
- Protective equipment (mask, face shield, plastic apron and gloves).
- The room/space will have to be aired and disinfected once the person has left
